Hotel worker killed by TN Transport bus
BENGALURU: A 27 year old hotel worker was killed when a speeding Tamil Nadu registered bus hit his scooter on Monday morning.
Deepak Thapa, a native of Nepal has been working in Bengaluru for the last few months. On Monday morning, Thapa, a resident of Kamakshipalya was headed for work at around 5.50am when a TN state transport bus hit his scooter. The incident took place near the Passport Seva Kendra near Lal Bagh.

Thapa, who was not wearing a helmet, sustained severe injuries in the fall. The bus driver rushed him to a nearby hospital, soon after the incident, however, he succumbed to the injuries without responding to treatment. According to police officials at the Wilson Garden Traffic police station, Thapa came in the way of the bus while riding his bike. The bus driver was unable to control the vehicle and hit Thapa's scooter. The police are trying to locate and reach Thapa's family. A case has been registered in the Wilson Garden police station.
